Problems Addressed

The first step in reducing your printing costs by up to 65% is to get an accurate picture of what your print volumes and costs truly are.  Only then can you utilize Analysis' and comprehensive reporting capabilities to optimize your printing machines.  We will look at the following areas to produce a report:


Printers

  • Identify your Ink and Toner costs to print, from the stationery budget
  • Add to this Drum and fuser costs, machine repairs
  • Look at leasing costs for your printers
  • How your utilising the functionality of the machines
  • The location of the machines in respect to the users and the costs incurred by having that machine, by that person.

Photocopiers

  • Understand your service cost
  • Additional fees (printer connection charge, network fee, etc)
  • Are you actually paying the costs per copy you think (minimum billing, excluding toner etc.)
  • Look at leasing costs for your photocopier machines.
Fax
  • Realise Ink and toner costs
  • Lease costs
  • How your facsimiles are being sent and received and looking at the costs of calls
External Printing
  • Review the quality being produced
  • Do you design this in-house?
  • Look at costs and frequency
  • Is wastage a problem (over producing to reduce cost then throwing away the excess)

The Report Proceedure

We can then produce a report, addressing all the issues raised through the information above.

  1. Produce a figure that you confirm is your spend as discussed above (this will not be increased)
  2. Go through the issues we have identified with you
  3. Show you step by step the changes we recommend and the impact this would have on your organisation
  4. At the very least, we can look to reduce these costs for you directly i.e. provide cheaper Toner etc.
  5. If you commit to putting all these costs through Eco Copiers we could even give you the cost effective equipment free.
