Features and Benefits
Good in colour & b/w
Surveys have shown that the use
of colour in office documents such as customer mailings or
presentations improves their communicative effectiveness. But many
offices cannot print colour economically. This is where the ineo+ 451
has a lot to offer. It not only delivers top-quality colour output at a
reasonable price but also prints black & white documents at
virtually the same price as a conventional monochrome machine. This
makes the ineo+ 451 an excellent replacement for an old
monochrome machine.
Finesse in finishing
The ineo+ 451 offers a range of sophisticated finishing functions, which adds to its appeal as a monochrome replacement. The economical, space-saving embedded finisher offers punching and saddle-stitching functions and an optional mail bin. The two floor-stand finishers are particularly useful when presentations and booklets of up to 80 pages have to be produced as quickly as possible.

Speed and economy
85
seconds is all ineo+ 451 needs to warm up. Then it is ready for
the first print or copy. The more documents it prints, the more money a
business can save through duplex (two-sided) printing. Paper
consumption can be cut by up to 50% in firms with a high volume of
documents. In contrast to most conventional office systems, which do
not deliver their rated speed in duplex mode, the ineo+ 451 has an
innovative paper path that makes it just as fast in duplex mode as it
is in simplex.
Wide range of media
The
system’s high-density polymerised toner is highly UV-resistant and
produces crisper, clearer images because the toner particles are
smaller and smoother than ever before. This enables the machine to
print professional-quality banners for shop-window posters, for
example. Other new applications are made possible by the system’s
lower fusing temperature, A3+ printing capability and ability to handle
media of up to 300 g/m2 via the bypass. Since the standard capacity of
3,650 sheets can be optionally extended to 6,650 sheets, the ineo+ 451
is nicely equipped to meet the needs of any large department or small
to mid-sized businesses.
Convenience in handling
Office
users do not want to waste time producing documents. Several features
of the ineo+ 451 show that this device has been designed for
convenience. Users need not even leave their desks to check the
system’s operational status thanks to the blue and orange LEDs of the
StatusLine. When they walk over to the machine, its large, full-colour
8.5-inch LCD touch panel tilts and swivels to ensure excellent
readability, even for wheelchair users or in sun-shine. The choice of
two controllers is another convenient feature, especially as both can
be used parallel. The standard ineo controller is designed for normal
office users who simply want to print the usual office documents. More
graphically skilled users, however, will no doubt prefer the optional
Fiery controller with its sophisticated colour management tools.
Many features not found in normal office systems make the ineo+ 451 an interesting proposition for improving the document workflow in large departments and small to mid-sized businesses.
